New 18th edition wiring regulations
The new 18th edition wiring regulations are now in the system. BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations will be issued on 2nd July 2018 and is intended to come into effect on 1st January 2019. All A.M.P Electrical Engineers are doing the City & Guilds 18th Edition Full Course.

Leigh Grid Sub Station
De commissioning of existing panels replaced by the installation of 2No 400A rated busbars feeding essential supplies to grid site. Switching arrangements via 400A switch fuses complete with castel interlocks
Substation lighting Installation
On this installation the client (a local REC) required the compound and out laying areas of the site to be illuminated. The light levels required were 200lux at ground level.
